Leigh and Mack are back. Oh, and me too.

I was just thinking the other day, "Where has Advergirl gone?" Well, she's back and there are also signs of life from everyone's favorite ad monkey.

They've inspired me to start a come back. Just like an 80s hair metal band reunion tour, but without the big hair and tight pants.

Happy Birthday KFADvertising

One year ago today, KFADvertising came into the world. It all started with some SuperBowl Madness and 175 posts later, brings us to this one.

Since the blog started I graduated from KU, got a job in Kansas City then got another job in Wichita. It's been quite the journey and I thank each and everyone of you for reading, commenting and coming along for the ride.

I don't know what the next year will hold, but you can bet I'll keep blogging about it.

KFAD Joins Sheep Haters in the 'Ta

It's official - I've got a new job. I'm leaving Gragg Advertising at the end of December and signing on as a copywriter with Sullivan Higdon & Sink in Wichita.

I don't want to leave Kansas City, but it's a great opportunity so I'm accepting the challenge and heading to Wichita. I went down last weekend and found a duplex, so at least I have a place to live. In fact, Kirstie Alley lives across the street. Seriously.

I don't know what to expect and I don't know anyone in Wichita, but I've got more pressing issues - such as what clever quip will be my personal tag line. All Sheep Haters have a funny little one-liner such as, "My CD collection weighs more than your car," "I too, pity the fool," "run, Forrest, run," and "I always wanted to be a former child star." Any suggestions?

Back to Business

KFADvertising is feeling a little lonely lately. I keep getting voicemails saying, "You never return my calls" and text messages asking, "Are you avoiding me?"

Well, the blog has been neglected because
in the immortal words of Crash Davis, "We're dealing with a lot of shit." But I got my eyelids unjammed and finally procured a live rooster to lift the hex - so I should be back in action soon.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, this would be a good place to start.
